EMI’s people in 2026
At EMI, our promise to the ministries we serve is rooted in thoughtful listening that seeks to understand and connect deeply with their vision, and to provide excellent design and services to help bring it into reality. We love partnering with them to advance the Gospel of Jesus through spiritual and physical restoration.
This promise is made real by the incredible people who serve with EMI.

This past year opened unexpected doors for many of our teams: new locations and new ways of serving, as we worked alongside our partners in 46 countries.

None of this would be possible without our volunteers. Thank you to those who give their time and expertise to our project teams, whether in the field or from home. Together, we are creating places of hope and flourishing where they’re needed most.

For EMI USA, Volunteer Hours are valued to calculate the Contributed Services portion of EMI Income.
Ministries also contribute to cover project overhead expenses, which also helps to make sure they value the services we are doing for them. This model of revenue from multiple sources has allowed EMI to be financially healthy for many years!
