CEO John Dallmann on the state of EMI around the world
EMI is a Christian non-profit made up of architects, engineers, surveyors, and construction managers who value Design, Discipleship, and Diversity.
From the CEO
Forty years ago a structural engineer used his technical gifting on a missions trip to the Pacific, bringing engineering and mission together in a new way.
From humble beginnings, EMI has grown into 11 countries with over 200 staff and interns. God’s hand of direction and provision has sustained us and we are extremely grateful.
He has enabled us to expand and adapt to a swiftly changing world, yet the basic EMI concept—using technical skills to advance the Gospel—has remained foundational.
We are influencing the shape of missions around the world, and our 40-year journey of faith continues today.
West Africa Projects
Please pray with us for wisdom as we respond to many project requests from West Africa. Many of these countries have experienced recent military coups or unrest, and all but essential travel is advised.
Back to Haiti
Travel to Haiti has been difficult the last few years with disasters, uncertainties, and instability. In March, EMI USA was finally able to meet in-person with local partners and continue the disaster mitigation work.
